Shop Policy & FAQ

Hello Lovely,

Welcome to my Shop Policies and FAQ. Please look over these carefully as you’re making a purchase. If you have any questions, check the Notes section for current and essential updates, the product listing, and check below before contacting me.

Important

  • Please be aware that your country may have additional VAT, Import, and Custom's fees. This basically means that the customs department in your country may require you to pay import fees when you receive your order depending on your order value. Please check with your country’s custom laws for a smoother shipping experience.

    I have no control over these fees and don't know how fees work in different countries. I am also unable to alter the price of the goods or to relabel the item as a "gift".

    Please note that Customs reserves the right to open and repackage any shipment as they see fit. I will package everything securely and am not responsible if damage occurs due to repackaging by customs.

    Please allow up to 120 days for your order to arrive.

  • Due to COVID-19 and other factors there are a few countries that I can’t currently ship to via USPS. For the list from my shipping service please click here.

    If you place an order to any country that the USPS has temporarily suspended shipments to, your order will be canceled and refunded, no issues.

    *The buyer will assume all responsibility of customs duties, taxes, and fees. I am unable to alter the price of the goods or to relabel the item as a "gift". Please allow up to 120 days for your order to arrive.

  • Please check your spam folders. To ensure you don't miss any order-related emails, add hello@christinemylinh.com to your contacts, star the email (in Gmail,) or move the email into your inbox.

    Order confirmations are automated and sent within 1 hour of placing your order. Items are then shipped after processing (3-7 business days) using USPS, and a shipping confirmation will be sent via email as well.

  • I strive to operate sustainably by using recycled and upcycled materials in my products and packaging whenever possible. I also aim to minimize waste by reusing shipping materials and choosing recycled or paper products. Although I still use non-ecofriendly cello bags to protect my work and enamel pins, I will switch to compostable packaging when I reorder my packaging supplies. Change is happening in small steps.

    My goal is to minimize my carbon footprint as much as possible and run an eco-conscious small shop with a mission of kindness to ourselves and our home.


Returns and Exchanges

  • Unfortunately, I am unable to accept returns, but if you have an issue with your items, please get in touch with me using my contact page. I am an independent illustrator running a small shop, so I can't operate like larger companies with dedicated teams. But I will try my best to make things right.

  • I do not accept exchanges. Please make sure you confirm your order before checkout. If you have an issue with your items, contact me or use my contact page.

  • I aim to get it right the first time, so I inspect each item 3-4 times throughout the packing process. If you feel you have received a defective item, email me with your order number and a photo of the item in question.

  • Unfortunately, sometimes the couriers are not as gentle with your order as I hope. Once the orders are sent, arrival times and package care are out of my control.

    I am not responsible for:

    - Mistakes made by USPS or any courier.
    - Wrong addresses
    - Damage to orders by postal service
    - PO box issues
    - Stolen packages after delivery

    If there is something I can do, please email me your order number and a photo of the damaged order. I am an independent illustrator running a small shop, so I can't operate like larger companies with dedicated teams and a large budget. But I will try my best to make things right.

  • Please see estimated shipping times in the Shipping section. If your order takes longer than the estimated time, please double-check the submitted address, check your local post office and customs, and finally, contact me, and I'll work with you to make it right.

    Please understand that after I mail your order to the address you provided, I do not control the amount of time it takes to reach you and whether it gets to you successfully - that is all up to the couriers. With package theft on the rise, please find ways to physically accept your orders or find a safe place to get them delivered.

  • Unfortunately, I cannot take responsibility for the input of incorrect addresses, and as an independent illustrator, I can't afford to do so. During checkout and on your order confirmation, be sure to confirm that the shipping address you entered is correct. If you realize that you've entered the wrong address, get in touch with me ASAP using my contact page, and I will do my best to help if I can.


Estimated Shipping Times

  • I use USPS to ship your order through standard mail (unless otherwise indicated by your shipping method). This can take anywhere between 8-21 business days (which excludes holidays and weekends). Please keep in mind that shipping times do not include processing time - the time it takes me to pack your order. These are estimated times and are not guaranteed. You will be sent a shipping confirmation when your order ships after it is packed.

  • I use USPS to ship your order through First class mail (unless otherwise indicated by your shipping method). This can take anywhere between 8-21 business days (which excludes holidays and weekends). Please keep in mind that shipping times do not include processing time - the time it takes me to pack your order. These are estimated times and are not guaranteed. You will be sent a shipping confirmation when your order ships after it is packed.

  • I use USPS to ship your order through First class international (unless otherwise indicated by your shipping method). This can take anywhere between 10-40 business days (which excludes holidays and weekends) depending on your location and if your order has stopped in Customs.

    Please keep in mind that shipping times do not include processing time - the time it takes me to pack your order. These are estimated times and are not guaranteed. You will be sent a shipping confirmation when your order ships after it is packed.

  • (Shipping methods vary by location.)

    -Standard USPS International Mail for items less than 3 ounces: 5-40 Business days
    -First Class International Mail: 10-40 Business days
    -USPS Priority Mail International: 6-10 Business days
    -USPS Priority Mail Express International: 3-10 Business days

    In addition to the processing time of your order (after final proof approval for custom orders, if open), all international customers must factor in shipping transit times and any possible delays that may occur through customs.

  • A tracking number will be assigned to your shipment (excludes first class). However, international customers should know that once a shipment leaves the United States and arrives at the destination country, the order may not be tracked via the United States Postal Service Tracking Number.

  • I have seen an increase in packages marked as "Delivered" and appearing a few days later. Please allow a few days for the package to arrive. If you still do not have your package after a few days, you can file a Missing Package Request with the USPS.


Digital Orders

  • Please check your spam folders. Digital items and printables are automatically sent to the email address you inputted after purchase. You will automatically receive the standard order confirmation email, followed by an email containing a link to the file.

    The link expires 24 hours after the purchase. If you click on an expired link, you will be sent a new link to the email address used for the initial purchase. To ensure you don't miss any order-related emails, add hello@christinemylinh.com to your contacts, star the email (in Gmail,) or move the email into your inbox.

  • I can send you a new download link to the email address attached to the order. Unfortunately, I can't send you a personal email with your order as attachments. So it is essential to confirm your email address before you place your order.

    Before you reach out, please check your spam folders first. And confirm that the email address on your order confirmation is correct. Digital items and printables are automatically sent to the email address you inputted after purchase. You will automatically receive the standard order confirmation email, followed by an email containing a link to the file.

    - The link expires 24 hours after the purchase.
    - If you click on an expired link, you will be sent a new link to the email address used for the initial purchase.
    - To ensure you don't miss any order-related emails, add hello@christinemylinh.com to your contacts, star the email (in Gmail,) or move the email into your inbox.

    If you've followed the steps above without success, please message me using my contact page with your order information. We'll figure this out. No worries!

  • Unfortunately, I cannot take responsibility for the input of incorrect email addresses because of the nature of digital orders, as they are instant. During checkout and on your order confirmation, be sure to confirm that the email address you entered is correct. If you realize that you've entered the wrong email address, please contact me ASAP and I will do my best to rectify the error if I can.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • All illustrations, Site content, and products by Blush and May and Christine My Linh are not allowed to be sold, scanned, or reproduced/shared for any reason unless agreed upon through a sale or contract. This includes marketing and promotional use or other purposes other than its sold intended use.

  • For digital purchases and printables, only the purchaser can use the digital purchases and printables or give them as a gift. Please do not share your digital files with multiple users. As an independent illustrator, please consider your purchase as support for my work.

    Blush and May and Christine My Linh holds all rights to all of the designs, even if a digital file is purchased. All products will be branded with the Blush & May Logo or the artist's signature. I hope you respect my work and credit me when using my designs.

  • Yes, I offer tattoo tickets for purchase in my shop. Please consider supporting my work this way. And send me a photo of the finished tattoo, I want to celebrate with you!

  • The 'tattoo ticket' is a way to show support for my work if you would like to use existing artwork as a tattoo or as inspiration for an adaptation for a tattoo.

    After purchase, you'll receive a ticket download that grants written permission to use my work for a tattoo. Many tattoo artists feel more comfortable (or insist upon) receiving approval from artists when tattooing their work or creating something inspired by it.

  • Unfortunately, I am not taking on any commissions or custom projects at the moment.

  • There will be an announcement at least a week before a shop launch. So please sign up to be on the email list. You'll also receive encouraging letters, stories, and illustrations which you could opt-out of at any time.

  • Maybe! I love journaling, and I believe that it's one of the tools that have helped me overcome many lifelong struggles.

  • Not at the moment. But please get in touch with me using my contact page to show your interest and tell me about your shop. The more interest I get, the more I would consider setting this up.
