How to catch inspiration | A short story

Dear Lovely,

How do you catch and keep inspiration?

Bunny and Bear sleeping under tree by Christine My Linh

Inspiration is all around us. Sometimes it's hiding in our connection with people, near and far. Other times, it's in nature; the movement of the squirrels or the song of the birds. Or it's in architecture, the buildings designed and in our favorite songs. Finding it is easy.

“But how do you catch it?

…And what happens if I'm tired from trying?" Asked the bunny.

"How do I keep it?"

"You don't catch or keep it, my dear bunny." Said the bear.

"You make space for it."

"It'll find its way to you when you make space."

"But how?" The bunny emphasized.

"Rest. It's okay to rest."

Bear reassured as they both drifted off to sleep to make space for inspiration.

Sincerely,
Christine
