Story. In 2016, My watercolor skills grew, and I was convinced that my purpose for making art was to license my work to big companies for them to use it on their products. So I paid close attention to trending subjects, especially in the boutique children's industry, and then I wrote a list. From that list, I started to illustrate.

This piece and the ‘Tea Cups’ came from that list. I imagined them with typography like "you are so sweet" or "you are my greatest adventure." I imagined having a complete portfolio of illustrations like these. But I never posted them.

After two pieces, I was exhausted. Creating fast art was not something I wanted to do. One of the biggest lessons I learned was that pivoting was okay and essential to growing. Although it was difficult, I learned to listen to my intuition.
