Bunny building the Night Sky | 2018 Original Ink Painting w/ Gold Accents
I used to think that if I made 'it,' wherever and however 'it' was, I could be done. And I believed that so strongly that I couldn't rest or feel fulfilled until the goal was achieved. But the most significant flaw with this thinking was that it made my entire process miserable. I was my worst critic; I judged how I worked and called myself horrible names.
Hitting this low point made me realize that life is much more enjoyable when you enjoy where you are and appreciate the steps you took.
